Knit-trek, the Next Generation

If you've been following my blog at all, you'll notice Leez mentioned that the fabled "Jr" arrived on Monday night, at 12:58.
Mom and he are completely healthy, and doing fine, though Mom and Dad are still working out the schedule thing. Fortunately Jr is starting to slooowwwly form an actual schedule, so that will make things a little easier to work around.
He loves his Superhero blanket, and is currently sleeping under it actually, and his "Pea Pod Cozy". Unfortunately we had to wash the cozy, since we discovered that he is an INCREDIBLE Houdini when it comes to a certain brand of newborn diapers, and escaped from them twice. As a result, aside from "Mommys Little Monster"... his other nickname is "God of Pee." ((Soaked the bed-sheet, both our shirts, part of his diaper, the Pod, and most of his onsie. In stealth wizzing.))
He also managed to already loose one of his little gloves, so I found a pattern to make some. Apparently he's going to be terrific for destashing, since he seems to adore knitted things, like my Mini Mochi shawl.

Mini Mochi Shawl Photoshoot

We got a new camera yesterday, so my husband and I tested it out taking some pictures of the shawl I made in "Mini Mochi" yarn, their "Intense Rainbow" colorway. (101).
The shawl has several mistakes, at least one you can see in the closeup, but I elected to leave them be at the time.
Anyway: here's a look at the amazing technicolor dream-shawl.
